Matt Damon is George Clooney's best man!
George Clooney has asked his colleague Matt Damon to be his best man at his wedding with British lawyer Amal Alamuddin - despite persistent rumors suggested that he actually intended to ask Brad Pitt for the honor.
"Many people thought that Brad was obvious that George's best man, because they were such close friends for so long. But he is apparently closer to Matt," says a source.
"However, during an evening of several years ago promised George Matt that he got to be his best man if he would ever get married - so Matt called him up when he heard the news."
It is still not clear when Clooney and Alamuddin will exchange their vows.
